Curriculum Coordinator
Miriam Schulman has been supporting Yeshiva day school students and teachers for almost fifteen years. She has significant expertise in literacy development and specialized instruction for students with dyslexia and other language-based difficulties. Miriam has served in various teaching roles featuring extensive training in both English and Hebrew reading at SAR Academy and, most recently, RYNJ. By tailoring her instruction to each child’s strengths and needs, Miriam has helped build critical foundational literacy and student skills for struggling learners. She has supported fellow teachers and support staff through informal training and workshops. Miriam is excited to join the administration of Yeshivat Shalshelet as Curriculum Coordinator where she can help each child reach their potential.
Miriam graduated from Queens College with a B.A. in History and received a dual M.S.Ed. in General Education and Literacy from Bank Street Graduate School of Education. Miriam lives with her husband and children in Teaneck, NJ.
