Who Is a Yeshivat Shalshelet Student?

A Yeshivat Shalshelet student is capable, talented and eager to learn, but may be struggling to realize his or her potential in a mainstream learning environment. Yeshivat Shalshelet serves students who have been diagnosed with a language based learning disability, such as, but not limited to dyslexia. Students who come to Yeshivat Shalshelet struggle with decoding, spelling, reading comprehension, writing, listening comprehension and/or verbal expression.  Yeshivat Shalshelet’s curriculum is designed to maximize a student’s learning potential, while nurturing his or her social, emotional, spiritual and physical well-being. 

Yeshivat Shalshelet currently serves students in grades 2–5, and is accepting applications for grades 2–6 for the 2023–2024 school year.
